Stainless steel knitted mesh is a non-woven wire mesh or cloth product formed from a series of
interlocking loops by means of a knitting process. It refers to
knitted mesh made of stainless steel wires, which can be
mono-filament or multi-filament type. The mono-filament knitted
mesh is more suitable for common applications while the
multi-filament knitted mesh is of higher strength and is used for
heavy duty applications
The original stainless steel knitted mesh is flattened after
production. However, customers may choose to have it ginning
processed. It will then have different shapes, width and depth of
ginning, and is applicable for more areas. Furthermore, knitted
mesh can be compressed to yield a compressed knitted mesh,
providing better filtration efficiency
