Demister Pad brief introduction

The Demister is an assembly of Yuanqiao knitted wire mesh supported on, and held down by, high open area grids. It is made to any size and shape and may be installed in all new and existing process vessels.

Demister pad filter mesh for gas and liquid serves well in filtering and deleting the particle mixture in foam, liquid and air, by way of distillating, absorbing, evaporating and filtering process, in petroleum, chemicals, metallurgy, machine, pharmaceuticals, automobile and environmental protection.

Demister units can be engineered to fit the smallest laboratory still, the largest refinery or petrochemical tower.

Demister Pad Application:

Wire mesh demister can not only filter bigger liquid foam suspended in the air, can also filter out small and tiny liquid foam. It is widely used in the Gas-liquid separation device of chemical, petroleum, tower manufacturing, pressure vessel and other industries.

Demister Pad Manufacturing Process

Firstly, we prepare the knitted wire mesh, according to the requirement of material, wire diameter, mesh density, etc. They are used to make the mesh pad of demister. In Hualai, we have our own knitting mesh work shop with dozens of different machines. In addition to providing tons of various kinds of knit mesh to our demister department each month, this workshop can also fulfill external orders.

Secondly, we weld the demister grids. They may be finished in any shape or size, according to the order and production arrangement. Usually big demisters are divided into proper small segments, to allow them to be installed through the tower man hole. In most occasions, the grids are builded in the same material with the mesh. But they can also be different as per the order design.

Thirdly, our workers make mesh pads with multi-layers of crimped knitted wire mesh, and join it with the grids on both top and bottom sides. Now a piece of demister is finished. As a process of checking, the whole demister will be pre-joint before packaging.

Lastly, the qualified demister segments are packed into a wooden box and ready for delivery. Other package methods can also be negociated, like pallet for FCL container, cartons for small demister. OEM service is available and welcome, too.
